1. What is mad.co.uk?
mad.co.uk delivers business insight to people working in marketing, media, new media, advertising and design. mad.co.uk is primarily a subscriptions-based service. We offer online news, analysis and jobsearch to the busy creative and marketing professional.

What are the different packages I can subscribe to?
mad.co.uk offers a range of packages to meet your needs and wallet.
Subscription options include:

Corporate and Academic subscriptions are also available as a cost effective option for multiple users within the same organisation. Please contact cleo.maher@centaur.co.uk for further information.
How can I pay for a mad.co.uk subscription?
Subscribing to mad.co.uk is easy. You can choose whether to pay monthly, quarterly or annually. We accept most credit cards including Visa (credit/debit), Mastercard, and American Express. If you have a card which is not accepted on the site, or have problems subscribing, you can contact us on: customerservices@mad.co.uk, or call 020 7970 4789 to arrange your payment.
3. Do you have any discounts for multiple users?
Corporate Subscriptions
If you are a company seeking a subscription for 5 or more people, then you will be entitled to receive a reduced subscription price. For further information please contact Cleo Maher on 020 7970 4937 or at cleo.maher@centaur.co.uk.
How much is a corporate subscription?
Below are the prices of our corporate subscriptions.

Academic Subscriptions
1. On campus access – this allows you to create one unique username and password for all of your students to use in order to access mad.co.uk. This costs £1,000 plus VAT.
2. Individual account access – this allows you to offer your students their own individual account with mad.co.uk, based on their university email address, and a unique university password. Each student could then set up and receive their own news, job alerts and newsletters, and experience the full benefits of a subscription. This is tiered by the number of students, you wish to have an account:

Do you offer a student subscription rate?
mad.co.uk does not have a student subscription rate. Unless the institution has an academic subscription, the full rate will be charged.
4. Renewals
How can I find out when my subscription expires?
To find out when your subscription is due to expire go to the homepage, click on Your Account and then click on the Subscription History tab on the left hand side of the page where full details will be displayed.
My subscription expires shortly. Will I automatically be renewed?
If you subscribed after the 01/09/05 through the website, your subscription will be automatically renewed unless you cancel the subscription, in accordance with the terms and conditions. Subscriptions taken before 01/09/05 will not be automatically renewed, but once renewed will be moved to continuous authority and the same terms will apply.
5. Upgrades
I have an Express subscription, but I need Full Access. What is the upgrade price?

6. Taking A Trial
How do I take a free trial?
The 7-day free trial is only available to new subscribers and can only be taken once. To take advantage of this offer you need to go to http://mad.co.uk/Logon/Logon.aspx, select the level of access you require and follow the instructions on the screen for that subscription.
If it's a free trial, why do I have to enter my card details in online?
The reason you give your card details is so that if you choose to continue the trial after the 7-day period we can take the payment from you, and there will be no interruption to your access. However, mad.co.uk does not take any money from the account until after the 7-day period and you can cancel your trial at any time during that 7-day period. mad.co.uk does not store card details and we have no access to this information.
How do I cancel my free trial?
To cancel your trial within the 7-day trial period, please email customerservices@mad.co.uk
Once you have cancelled, you will receive email confirmation of cancellation from our customer services team. If you do not receive email confirmation within 1 working day, please contact us on 020 7970 4789.
I didn't cancel within the 7 days. Can I be refunded?
mad.co.uk does not give refunds on subscriptions of any length. If you have any queries about our refund policy you can view the Terms and Conditions page. Alternatively you can contact our Customer Services team at customerservices@mad.co.uk.
7. Payment Methods
Can I pay without using a credit card?
mad.co.uk only accepts credit or debit card payments for individual subscriptions taken through the site. However, for group subscriptions, and for Full Access annual subscriptions, it is possible to pay via invoice, cheque or BACs transfer. Please contact our Customer Services team on 020 7970 4789 or at customerservices@mad.co.uk for more information.
How will I know when and how much money you will charge me each month?
When you have completed the registration process, chosen your subscription type and payment plan, you will be informed by email exactly when payments will be taken from your card and the exact amount that will be taken on that date.
How do I print a VAT receipt?
If you have paid for your subscription online, you will be able to print VAT receipts for your payments. To do this, go to 'your account' at the top of the mad.co.uk homepage when you are logged in. From the options on the left select 'subscription history' and click on the relevant subscription. This will bring up a list of payments, and by clicking on a payment you will download a VAT receipt.

8. Magazine subscriptions and online access to mad.co.uk
I pay for a subscription to Marketing Week/Design Week/Precision Marketing/In-Store does this entitle me to access mad.co.uk?
Yes. If you pay for a subscription to any of the magazines above, you are entitled to a complimentary subscription to mad.co.uk Express worth £24.95 plus VAT. You will also have access to the full website of the magazine you have subscribed to. To activate your subscription, click here and follow the instructions.
I pay for a subscription to Creative Review/Data Strategy does this entitle me to access mad.co.uk?
If you pay for any of the above magazines, you get access to that magazine's site and archive. However, you do not get a mad.co.uk Express subscription to mad.co.uk.
I have a complimentary subscription to Marketing Week/Design Week/Precision Marketing/In-Store - do I get any access to mad.co.uk?
No. You only get access to mad.co.uk, if you have a paid subscription to one of the above magazines. If you wish to get access to mad.co.uk, please go to http://www.mad.co.uk//Subscriptions/Subscribe.aspx and choose a subscription package.
Where do I get my magazine reader number?
Your magazine reader number is a six or seven digit number, that can be found on your address label on your magazine. You can also get your reader number from the Centaur Customer Services team by phoning 020 7292 3700 or emailing customer.services@centaur.co.uk. You will need this number and the postcode to which you magazine is delivered, and enter them into the 'Activate' box on mad.co.uk to to activate your online access.
9. Log in/out
How do I log into the site?
To log into mad.co.uk go to http://mad.co.uk/Logon/Logon.aspx and enter your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password please click here.
How do I change my registered email address or password?
To change your registered email address, please send the old and new email addresses to our Customer Services team at customerservices@mad.co.uk so that your details can be updated. To change your password click here.
10. Setting Cookies
Do I have to log in each time I visit the site?
No. You can set your cookies to remember you when you come onto the site. For more information on setting cookies please click here.
I have a new machine and cannot access mad.co.uk. How can I get back in?
As you will not have any cookies set for mad.co.uk you will need to log into the site by going to http://mad.co.uk/Logon/Logon.aspx and entering your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password please click here.
11. Receiving news and job alerts
How do I sign up to receive Breaking News Alerts?
To sign up for Breaking News Alerts you need to be logged in. To log in go to http://mad.co.uk/Logon/Logon.aspx and enter your email address and password. Click on the Your Account link at the top of the page and then click the Alerts tab on the left hand side of page.
How do I sign up to receive Industry News Alerts
If you have a Full Access subscription to mad.co.uk you are eligible to receive the Industry News Alerts. To sign up for them you need to be logged in, to do this go to http://mad.co.uk/Logon/Logon.aspx and enter your email address and password. Click on the Your Account link at the top of the page and then click the Alerts tab on the left hand side of page.
How do I sign up to receive Job Alerts?
To sign up for Job Alerts you need to be logged in. To log in go to http://mad.co.uk/Logon/Logon.aspx and enter your email address and password. Click on the Jobs link at the top of the page and then click the Jobs By Email tab on the left hand side of page.
How do I sign up to receive mad.co.uk's newsletters?
To sign up for mad.co.uk's newsletters you need to be logged in. To log in go to http://mad.co.uk/Logon/Logon.aspx and enter your email address and password. Click on the Your Account link at the top of the page and then click the Alerts tab on the left hand side of page.

I have a mad.co.uk subscription. Why can't I access any of the breaking news stories?
You need to make sure that you are logged into the site. You can do this by going to http://mad.co.uk/Logon/Logon.aspx and entering your email address and password. If this does not work, please contact our Customer Services team on 020 7970 4789 or at customerservices@mad.co.uk.
I've signed up for job alerts but I haven't received anything. Why is this?
mad.co.uk only sends you job alerts about vacancies which match the preferences you have chosen. This means that you will not necessarily receive an alert every day as there may not be a relevant vacancy matching you needs. To change you job preferences, click here.

How do I unsubscribe from alerts and newsletters
You can unsubscribe from any mad.co.uk newsletter or alert simply by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email you receive.
