Entrepreneurship for Creatives
Alongside talent, artists and creative people have prospered through a variety of means, many other skills need to be enhanced or acquired in order to prosper as a practitioner or build a business within the visual arts and creative industries. This course aims to assist you in developing a range of practical and inter-personal skills that will help you to generate and profit from opportunity. Through a series of workshops you will learn about the principles of negotiation, importance of presentation, constructing networks, creating a vision, how to work with other people, key legal aspects and understanding business strategy. Learning about these qualities will assist you in pursing an entrepreneurial outlook. In addition to these workshops there will be sessions on idea generation and how to create an inspired sales pitch.
