Energy Saving Trust shortlists three ad agencies

energysavingtrustThe Energy Saving Trust (EST) has shortlisted three advertising agencies for a consumer campaign to run over the next three years.

The agencies are Mother, DDB and Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy and the pitch will be will be managed by the Central Office of Information (COI).

The successful agency will lead creative development for a national campaign, which launched in May, and seeks to position the organisation as the place to go for advice on saving energy in the home. The target audience is all adults over 25.

The campaign aims to promote the organisation as a trusted information source and generate traffic to a website and call centre.

The winner will be expected to work alongside agencies already appointed to the brief.

Tamara Mauro-Trujillo, Consumer Marketing Manager at the Energy Saving Trust, said:

"We have to make saving energy easy, simple and beneficial for some 60 million people - if we are to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. We are looking for insight, passion and critically, campaigns that communicate the benefits of energy saving in the consumer's language.
