Mobile ads company beefs up management team
Mobile advertising and technology provider Velti and Ansible, its joint venture with Interpublic Group, have recruited a number of senior marketers including former ntl:Telewest marketer Clare Grant.
Grant is joining Velti as group marketing director with global responsibility for marketing strategy, brand, analyst relations, web and direct marketing. Before joining ntl:Telewest Business she held marketing positions at Sony Broadcast and Professional Europe.
Nick Wiggin is joining Ansible as managing director Europe, Middle East and Africa, based in London. He is a former head of digital media planning and buying at i-level and chaired the Mobile Marketing Association from 2005 to 2007. He has been running his own mobile consultancy business.
Velti UK has appointed Aris Hadjiaslani to the new position of general manager. He joins from the position of global director for future products at Vodafone UK.
Ansible works with brands, agencies and content providers to develop and deploy mobile marketing solutions.
Velti has recently announced US deals with Wrigley’s orbit brand and Western Union.
