Trident chewing gum to sponsor The Gap YearChewing gum brand Trident has signed up as a main sponsor of The Gap Year, the online adventure reality series created by Endemol.

The series, which launches exclusively on Bebo from 21 May, will follow six young people who will travel the world documenting their adventures for Bebo subscribers by posting videos, blogs and photos to the site each day.

Trident has launched a 'Mess with Your Head' campaign on Bebo, where it will provide users the opportunity to influence the adventures of the UK's Gap Year traveller. The gum brand, owned by Cadbury Schweppes, is one of a number of sponsors set to be announced on Monday that will provide integrated content throughout the series.

The Gap Year will kick off as Bebo's flagship drama KateModern comes to an end.
