Snowdon named Capital breakfast co-host
Lisa Snowdon (pictured) has officially replaced Denise Van Outen as co-host with Johnny Vaughan of the struggling Capital 95.8 breakfast show.
The host of Living’s ‘Britain’ Next Top Model' has been co-hosting with Vaughan since the beginning of July while Van Outen has been on holiday.
Capital will be hoping the new pairing will help revive the stations fortunes in the important London breakfast slot.
The last quarterly Rajars saw the breakfast show register a 6.9% dip quarter on quarter and a 7.6% slump year on year despite the reunion of former Big Breakfast presenters Van Outen and Vaughan in February.
Capital is now owned by Global Radio following its £375 million acquisition of GCap Media in April.
