Air New Zealand makes crew star of ads
Air New Zealand has unveiled a new advertising campaign introducing the slogan “Is it just a Kiwi thing?”
The campaign has been created by Albion and is designed to reflect the “Kiwi can-do” philosophy embodied by the airline’s staff. Advertising activity embraces press, outdoor, London underground and online.
The campaign focuses on Air New Zealand’s business premier longest lie flat bed, its premium economy cabin and the Hong Kong and LA routes. The advertising features genuine cabin crew from the London base.
European marketing manager Kathryn Gregory says: “The new campaign really brings to life the energy and attitude that sets Air New Zealand apart from the competition. It’s the biggest campaign we have run in the UK and is something different to the more traditional style of airline advertising usually seen.”
Albion won the airline’s advertising business after a pitch against Publicis, Adam & Eve and Farm in April.
