Landor marketing chief jumps ship to Blue Marlin
Landor Associates marketing and communications director Stef Brown is leaving the design company to join Blue Marlin as group marketing director.
Brown has been at Landor for seven-and-a-half years and will be replaced. Recently appointed communications manager Rose Jackson will take over Brown’s responsibilities in the interim.
In July Landor made six redundancies ahead of an expected downturn in its business sin the UK and Europe.
Independent brand design consultancy Blue Marlin appointed John Mathers, former chief executive of The Brand Union, as chief operating officer in April.
He oversees the five regions where Blue Marlin already operates and I tasked with expanding the consultancy. It currently has offices in Bangkok, Bath, London, New York and Sydney, and may open an office in the Middle East.
The agency’s clients include Cadbury’s and Vaseline.
