orange adOrange UK has appointed Jeremy Morris as head of direct marketing following the integration of Orange’s business and consumer direct marketing and retail publications team.

Morris takes over from Spencer McHugh who was recently appointed as Orange UK’s head of brand communications, which saw the advertising, digital and media buying teams integrate into one team.

Previously, Morris was on the Pay As You Go team as head of acquisition.

Morris will be responsible for planning, developing and delivering Orange’s direct acquisition strategy, while also managing all direct marketing communications, such as working alongside newly appointed direct marketing agency, Chemistry.

Morris will also be charged with ensuring that Orange’s Together We Can Do More campaign is integrated into all direct marketing activity.

The appointment builds on Orange chief Tom Alexander’s plans to re-structure the organisation and focus on the 21st Century customer.
