Disney to offer sponsorship opportunities
Disney is to offer advertisers online sponsorship opportunities across new franchises such as High School Musical for the first time.
The first brand that signs up will sponsor the official film site for teen film High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which launches on 24 October.
Other opportunities will include co-branded promotions within all of Disney's websites.
Alex Baillie, commercial director at Walt Disney Internet Group, said, "We've decided to roll this out in the UK and across Europe because it has been successful in the US."
Ad2One, which handles ad sales for Disney.co.uk, is to manage the sponsorship opportunities, which will cost from £55,000 a month.
