Ministry of Sound to release branded phones
Ministry of Sound (MoS) is to release a series of branded phones with Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson.
One pay-as-you-go phone from each manufacturer is to be sold with a bundle of MoS and Hed Kandi content including full tracks, videos, wallpapers and ring tones.
The phones went on sale on Friday via distribution partners including Vodafone.
Van Uong, brand licensing manager for MoS, said the label was able to capitalise on its loyal fan base.
Ministry of Sound is the world's largest independent record label with a large and loyal following, we are able to work closely with our handset partners to create exclusive bundles which have huge appeal with the 16-24-year-old demographic," said Uong.
More packages are expected to follow later this year
