DMA unveils mobile marketing guides

DMA logoThe DMA (UK) has launched a series of a mobile marketing guides in a bid to educate direct marketers about the multitude of commercial options available to them via the medium.

The guide takes the form of a 12-part series of help notes covering a range of topics including user generated content, mobile TV, mobile social media and multimedia messaging.

The guides have been written by a number of industry experts including Nick Fuller, Chair of the Mobile Marketing Council, Jonathan Bass, managing director of Incentivated and Mark Brill, chief executive of txt4ever.

Chairman of the DMA Rosemary Smith comments: “The DMA is focused on supporting all direct channels available to marketers and increasingly this means looking at digital media. Mobile is the newest and most personal of channels and the publication of these Help Notes will ensure that members can keep up with the latest trends.”
